Hello.
I just made a velocity stack for my kt100.
The only thing is that I made it to the diameter of the air filter mounting bracket which is slightly larger then the karb.
Should I file a little of the karb to match it up?
Thanks.

Yes, taper the carb from the opening to the choke but don't get into the air premix orifice. As others are furiously typing, this set up is generally not allowed in sanctioned competition.

The choke I'm referring to is the smallest diameter in the bore of the carb.

Thanks.
I will try it out and will see if there is any noticeable performance gain.
Buy the way, is this setup considered legal?

No! The velocity stack itself is illegal and modifying the carb throat is even more so.

Just tried it today.
It felt like it picked up all throughout the power band and especially on the top end.
It is amost as fast as tag kart now. This is what I was trying to acheave.
