I just saw the results for the combined tag sr and masters main event on Sunday. Jess Peterson won (leopard?) and Mirko Mizzoni (rotax)was on his bumper. Peterson, tag sr, 355lbs. Mizzoni, tag masters, 395 lbs. Mizzoni set fast time in the main.

So im confused, are you saying that you think the Rotax's should have to weigh more than the Leopards? Or that somebody had their chassis handling so much better that in the end the weight wasn't as big a factor? Lets not be so vague just say what you think Twisted Evil

Two weeks ago the info from teams testing was that rotax were in the 56 and leopards were 55. So yes the 20lbs killed the rotax,

Not sure why more than 10lbs at a time would be added, especially in the middle of the year........
Needing to add 20lbs means something was sure missed in the beginning or something just isn't right now........ "just my opinion obviously"

If Peterson ran each motor in Tag sr on Sat and Sun , what were his qualifying times each day?

Correct Mike.

Friday, during practice, Mizzoni tried a Motori, leopard, and then a Rotax.

Dan,

I would suggest that you, and the rest of the gang, just keep quiet and settle down until the SummerNationals. As it stands, it is what it is. SKUSA has made a move to equalize a perceived competition imbalance, to an expense that I'm told came in at around $5k, and that's their perogative. We're ALL going to see the results of this adjustment on Friday, July 19th, when we're hot at Grand Junction for practice.

Until then, let's quit the bitching. If the Rotaxes remain competitive and can grab another win, I can't wait to read what is written here. Wink

Bitching on the forums?
It's apparent that your inside knowledge of SKUSA's financials are putting you in a position of defense for them. This is the second time in a week you have referenced their cost of doing business. What about the cost to the racers when the engine/weights change?
Why don't you just let us forum followers do our thing until......then just shut it down. BUT...when you inject your own opinion, you are no different than us. Lol
