Ladies and Gentlemen,

USKGP is talking with COTA about the possibiliities of a race date in 2014 at Circuit of Americas and it would be a 2 day race weekend.

For this to happen USKGP needs to sign a contract with COTA.

USKGP would therefore need a solid commitment of 216 people each paying $600.

While we appreciate this is a considerable amount of money in addition to travel costs it needs to be understood that this will be a one shot deal ONLY and we will never get another opportunity to race there.

For the fee you will have the opportunity to race on the Circuit Of The Americas which is a multi-purpose facility that will host the most prestigious racing events in the world, including the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™. It is the first purpose-built Grand Prix facility in the U.S..

Additionally once we reach the 216 people that are required the cost will go down.

If we can do this we will require a commitment deposit to be paid by November 30th 2013 of $300.

No checks will be cashed until we have obtained the required number of people.

If we do not get the required number then plainly stated there will be no race. If we reach and exceed the number then the remaining outstanding payment to race will be less.

To keep costs down it will be a 2 day event and scheduling will be posted as we start getting firm commitments.

Can we start the ball rolling by a yes or no on here.

Thank you all for your time.

No way to high for a race. And the second week of July it should be about 100 degrees then. if it was more like 200 per day I would go for it.

We are in.

Now I need to figure out how many karts I can get together for this event.

Five or six classes per day?

That's about $50 a race.

My boy is going to doing A LOT of driving! Laughing

P.S. And it's still cooler than here!

So an extra $100 per day is a deal breaker?

That is our break even number. We put races on for the love of our sport and do not make money out of it, ask anyone who has ever attended our races.

Thank you for your time we certainly appreciate it.

Just talked with Jr (Clark Jr) and I suspect at this point we will attend. $600 per driver for as many classes as you wish to run, doesn't sound all that bad. If you run two classes per day, that's only $150 per class. Again, not that bad!
For those who road race, $100-125 per classes is the norm. And to run COTA- damn!!
Come on guys, give Bernie (er- I mean Chris) your thoughts on this.
I personally run Stock Leopard, so $300 each for two races is worth it to me. And just imagine how SMOOTH that track is!!!!!
Come on, let's hear the comments. We have to get behind this if it's going to happen.
This has the potential to be as big a road race as it gets. I'll bet some Euro's might show up for this one.
Clark Sr.

Sundar

this event will be open to anyone.

As soon as we get a commitment for the 216 people the website will be reanacted with rules, classes and a schedule.

We welcome you to the Road Racing community and hope to see you there.

Please check in here periodically for updates

Would love to say Yes. But we need a general idea of classes. Running Laydown karts is not the usual karts in past USKGP due to geographic locations. So before we can commit, let us know what classes we would have available to get our money's worth.

If anyone has a kart for lease that would be available for this race please let me know, I'd be very keen to head over. Whether it be stock Honda, 250 single or 250 twin. My email address is mikewayneracing@gmail.com
