I wish it was back on Speed! At least it would be shown when the schedule says it will be shown .... LIVE! I am sick of this NBC SPORTS SNAFU !

This is what they showed 2 minutes after the scheduled start of the program.

That's Rosberg beating Webber to the line. WTFH?

even when it was on Speed, ya had to be aware of those races that were shown on Fox.

this race was live on CNBC.

we live in the information age, folks....i have this site bookmarked and use it to set my DVR.

http://www.tvracer.com/

it was here i found that MAV TV is showing WRC now....of course FIOS dropped it so i can't watch rally any more. Sad

How does that help if the network doesn't show what they say they are going to show?

What I usually do is after I turn on the recording I will fast forward a little ways without looking at the screen then rewind to the beginning. Weird that we go to these lengths for a hobby, huh??? Smile

What NBC did - providing a race recap seconds after the SCHEDULED start of the NBC Sports F1 race coverage - was inexcusable Evil or Very Mad . They didn't even give a spoiler alert. Shocked I have the DVR set to automatically record all 'first run' F1 racing off NBC Sports. Yesterday, I checked to see if I needed to change the recording to CNBC (I never watch CNBC so I didn't even know what channel it was). I noted that the NBC Sports replay started at 8:30am and already set to record so I didn't bother to change the settings.

I was fortunate - I turned it on then headed into the other room to get something figuring it would be the normal pre-race stuff. Then I hear the beginning of a race recap! WTF! I turned to see Hamilton's tire blow (although I wasn't sure if it was Hamilton or Rosberg), immediately ducted back in the other room, covered my ears and started doing the 'la la la la la' thing so I couldn't hear. I then slowly counted to a hundred before chancing a peak back at the TV - by which time they were back to the bike race.

So it didn't ruin the race for me (and it didn't take long to find out the tire failure was Hamilton) but it was a close call and totally unnecessary. NBC F'ed up.

Tim
