Dog ate em? Wait, Kelly doesn't have a dog......Animal ate em? Laughing
It's easy Sheldon....green flag means go, yellow flag means no passing/proceed with caution, red flag means Uh Oh, and checkered means make your way to the scales. Done.

Ive got 4 wheels & tires on the trailer and even have 4 on my kart now. Getting closer. Will be loading up what I have (might need to work on it at the track) Thursday night and plan on hitting the highway Friday afternoon.

Kelly thanks for making the drivers' meeting more thorough & entertaining.
However, I can tell time. First if all those protests better be within 30 minutes. You must also suspect that I will deny them. A board review will cost you $50.

And do I know the rule book? I wrote some of it, not that I really remember what I spouted off. I know I didn't raise the 100 Open weight.

I looked at the weather for the weekend, looks good. It looks line the 1st KART race in 10 months that a jacket isn't required. I don't know if thanks go to the promoter or race director, just show up in appreciation.

Thanks to all who worked to make this event happen. Special thanks to Sheldon for again taking on the job of Race Director. With it being so darned hot on Saturday, some tempers were a little short, which made that job all the more stressful, but Sheldon handled it with his usual calm as if it's all in a day's work.
And thanks to all who came and supported the event, especially those that ran the local option classes. That's how the KART Directors learn what might work in the future, and take into consideration if something is worth more testing.
And from what I heard we had a really good turn-out, which makes everybody happy. I know at some times during practice it looked like there was a lot of traffic on the track, which makes it more fun for one and all.
Hope to see all @ Garnett August 3&4.
Did anybody happen to notice everything is already posted to mylaps! That Maysha is on the ball, isn't she? Now if the finishes, or lack thereof such as someone just not going across the scales, would reflect DNW instead of DQ, but I believe that is a mylaps issue, and not something that can be changed on Maysha's end.

I get thanks & handshakes. I appreciate it very much. I worked hard & wanted that event to be a good product. I believe that's the standard set by other KART race directors.

But the others Kelly listed are great. I make my rounds after every race. These people have racing interests. But they all take great pride to do the job they were asked to do. And they don't complain about spending more time on their job than their racing. And they produced some good results.
