David,
SLOW down, you are ahead of me!!!! Laughing

Lindsay's done (at garnett), Brad waiting on motor, I have been making modifications to the animal chassis. Hope to be all done this weekend!! Very Happy

I've said it once and will say it again, THANKS Sheldon for being the race director at this event and even getting others involved with pre-tech, etc so that the READ family can kick back (yea right) and have a weekend of FUN. THANKS to those doing those other duties we normally do. Guess we won't have any excusses for not running good after this weekend!!! Laughing

Only thing I can think of as why those kids like hanging around Brad & Lindsay is because of there own dad "THE MAN"!! Who wouldn't???? Laughing Laughing

Can anybody tell me when KART MARRS last ran Hallett counter-clockwise?
Bernie & Pierce are talking about participating in a Friday practice and I can't find any info on it.

2010 was the last time running CCW. Should have done it last year but one of us had a BRAIN DEAD moment when we scheduled the event!!

As for information, take 2 teeth off from running in the CW direction.

MT POCKETS real close to being ready!!! This includes Jim who is working on his at this time. As of now, looks like Lindsay won't be making the trip. She is heavily involved with Big Brothers/Sisters and they have a trip scheduled the same weekend and there is no need to disapoint her little sister.

Does anyone have a Mychron (or similar) we can borrow at Hallett?

I have a close friend & his son that is interested in road racing & would like to bring his sit-up clone (see reference above) to Hallett & try it out. We just need it for the max RPM to determine the gear. We don't want to blow his engine.

Kelly has been gracious enough to loan us a clutch for each kart. Thanks Kelly!

Let me know.
Thanks!
Chris

"THE MAN" machine will be in use at Hallett!!! Got a guy who ran tag wants to give it a try. Animal drivers, BE NICE!!!!!!!

Will have Jim's ready also. MT POCKETS coming in FULL force excluding Lindsay (tears up to much stuff!!).

Those wanting to purchase race gas at the track:

1) One of THERE (HMRC) pumps does not pass our tech so be sure we test it before you purchase it. We will lock it if can and/or put a sign on the ilegal pump.
2) We (MT POCKETS) have 5 - 5 gallon cans of pump gas mix if anyone needs some. Fuel we run in the Animal. $40.00 per can.

Reminder,
If someone needs some last minute parts, give Jamie a call at Russells. She will be more then glad to bring them to Hallett.

LET"S GO RAC'N!!!!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I was writing my checklist for the drivers' meeting. One thing I'll address might be good to know before hand.
If you're buying gas from Hallett's pumps, there is one grade that will NOT pass tech. I seem to remember that to be the mid-grade. Either way, it'll be tested and marked "no go".
And it looks like I can knock that meeting out pretty quickly.

I believe there were two that tested bad last year, the 96 (?) and the 101. The 110 was the legal brew. I will test and tag them Friday afternoon.
